MH – v – Secretary of State for the Home Department (Refusal of Spouse Visa)

Our Solicitor was recently instructed to represent a client, who wished to Appeal her Spouse Visa refusal.

The client who was a Pakistani national applied for spouse entry clearance to join her British husband but her application was refused due to lack of evidences in relation to her English language qualification and sponsor’s income. The client instructed our Solicitors to represent her during the appeal. The Solicitor, with the appeals team worked closely with Counsel to ensure that the Appellant’s case was prepared to the highest standards. This included preparing a customised appeal and making written submissions on behalf of the client.

It normally takes between 9-12 months for an overseas for an appeal. The Solicitor decided to bypass this by making direct representations to the Entry Clearance Manager at the British High Commission in Pakistan.

Our Specialist Solicitor not only secured the UK spouse Visa for our client but also managed to achieve this in four weeks.
